Design and Implementation of an IRIS Recognition Attendance Management System

Iris recognition verification is one of the most reliable personal identification methods in biometrics. With the rapid development of iris recognition verification, a number of its applications have been proposed until now including time attendance system etc. In this paper, an iris recognition attendance management system is designed and implemented using Daugmans algorithm [1].This system based biometrics and technique solves the problem of spurious attendance and the trouble of laying the corresponding network. It can make the users attendance more easily and effectively.

Zamin Ali Khan
Dr. M. Zamin Ali Khan is currently a Head of Computer Science department at IQRA University. He has received B.E. (Electrical Engineering) from NED University, Karachi, Pakistan and MS (Electrical & Computer Engineering) from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada and PhD in Computer Science from University of Karachi. He has more than 18 years of experience of teaching and industry. He had worked in Victhom Human Bionics, Canada as an Engineer Scientist. Currently. He is a senior member of Pakistan Engineering Council, Canadian Engineering Council and IEEE. His research interest includes VLSI, Digital design, and Digital signal processing and analog front end of wireless devices.

Muhammad Saad Mumbasit
Muhammad Saad Mumbasit is a Graduate of Computer Science from IQRA University who is currently working on web development (PHP, .Net technologies) as well as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Systems in a Software Company name OFBITSS. More than 2 years of experienced in building a social media website to share and update records of live sports matches based on Electronic sports. He worked in E-sports production house named ESN Pakistan.

Raees Alam
Raees Alam graduated from IQRA University Karachi, Pakistan and currently working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 as customizer in OFBITSS and also working in client facing and engineering rules. Two years experienced in C#, ASP .NET and SQL development and experienced in a startup and established software development teams. He is able to handle large database on Microsoft platforms.

Wasique Haider
Wasique Haider is a Computer Science Graduate who is currently working on Advanced JavaScript and Its Frameworks (Angular.JS, ReactJS). He is also working on backend technologies like PHP and Node.JS in a software company named Optimum Inc. He has received his B.S (Computer Science) Degree from IQRA University, Karachi, Pakistan.

Abeer Ahmed
Abeer Ahmed is a Computer Science Graduate who is currently working on web development (PHP) as well as Software Quality Assurance in a software company named KNYSYS LLC. Further he is doing SAP Certification. He has received his B.S (Computer Science) Degree from IQRA University, Karachi, Pakistan.
