Source Camera Identification of Mobile Phones using EXIF Data and Lens Features
Source camera identification is the process ofdiscerning which camera has been used to capture a particular image. This study has focused on analyzing the relationship between mobile enabled cameras and the photographs. Mobile cameras are typically low-end cameras equipped on hand-held devices such as personal digital assistants and cellular phones. The fast proliferation of these mobile cameras has brought up concerns on the origin and integrity of their output images. In this paper, we try to identify the source mobile cameras by combining some features extracted from a test image especially some unique features like focal length, aperture value of the lens, resolution etc. The technique focuses on identifying some features that can differentiate the characteristic quality and size trade-off among different camera models. Simulation is carried out to evaluate the success rate of method.
