E-learning: Current State of Art and Future Prospects

Adaptation of the E-learning system according to cognitive characteristics of the students is a relatively new direction of research on the conjunction of technical and pedagogical aspects. It is particularly important that the E-learning systems are able to integrate different paces of content and navigation in order to be able to respond to diverse needs of the students. The goal of this paper is to present the state of art in E-learning and thereafter to highlight some future aspects.

Mukta Goyal is pursuing her Ph.D. (CSE) from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. She received her under Graduation (CSE) from Govt. college of engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala University and Masters (CSE) from Banasthali University. She has more than 12 years of teaching experience.

Divakar Yadav
Dr.Divakar Yadav is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (Deemed to be Univerisity), Noida. His research interests are Information Retrieval, Soft-computing and Operating Systems. He published more than 25 research papers in reputed International journals and conferences. He is also reviewer/committee member of various International Journals and Conferences.

Alka Choubey
Dr. Alka Choubey is presently working as an Associate Professor at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (Deemed to be Univerisity), Noida. She received her Ph.D (Mathematics) degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varansi. Her area of research is Fuzzy Topology and Fuzzy Automata Theory. She is interested in doing research in different areas of Mathematics and Computer Science
