Automatic Color Images Classification Algorithm

Numerous research works about the extraction of objects from images have been published. However only recently the focus has shifted to exploiting low-level features to classify images automatically into semantically meaningful and broad categories. This paper presents a novel automatic color image classification algorithm. Initially the color image is divided into classes; each class is a group of pixels that they have the same color after that the object is extracted from the image. In the recent work, an automatic color images classification algorithm is synthesized and analyzed. The suggested method was running on group of color images to determine the best parameters of suggested algorithm. We run our algorithm with initial value of elaboration coefficient and we found that the automatic classification algorithm achieved minimum classification error and minimum running time when incremented by step and becomes .

Dr. Rushdi Saleem Abu Zneit I received the BS and MS degree in computer engineering from Leningrad Electro-Technical Institute, Leningrad, USSR, in 1983 and the PhD degree in computer engineering from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, 2001. I am currently an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering in the faculty of Engineering Technology at Al-Balqa\'a Applied University, Jordan. My research interests include computer digital image processing, computer algorithms, and computing systems fault-tolerance.

Amjad Abu Jazar
Dr. Amjad Abbas Shafeeq Abu Jazar I received B.Sc. AND M.S.c (1992), Faculty OF Automatic Communication, Odssa Electrical Institute of Communication, Odessa, Ukraine, Ph..D. (1996) in engineering sciences (Telecommunication Systems and Their Control:. Ukranian State Telecommunication Academy. Odessa. Ukraine. I am currently an assistant professor at the Department at Arab American University, West Bank of Jordan Jenin, Electrical Engineering Departemnt. Belal Ayyoub
